I respect the author’s attempt at bringing up taboo topics within the church but wish we still didn’t carry such a shameful approach to sex in general. Generally I try to do the walk and keep my mouth shut, since I’m not into the evangelical thing much at all.


I wish I would’ve found this book 10 years ago when it was first written. It won’t answer all questions, but it will help you get a little more comfortable with asking them.

Like all Christian books, you read it, chew on it, spit out the bones, etc, but it was an encouragement to me to see what God has to I found this book at a thrift store and figured I’d read it to see what it had to say. This book addresses questions of all kinds, with answers coming straight from the Bible. I found it very shallow, not to mention frustrating, and would only recommend very small, particular portions of this book to anyone.

I’m not married yet, but I found this book very helpful. A must read for every Christian woman. The only thing I don’t like is the fact that this seems to be ‘pretty overly important’.

It wasn’t a pleasant read, but the matters they covered were very important, and they covered them well from what I could tell–I’m no therapist.

The next minute I want londa strangle the life out of him. If we are comparing ourselves with images shown in pornography, perhaps a better word would be absurd. I can’t say enough good things about this book. I will definitely be using this as a great reference tool for our couples.

Sex is super fun and awesome and there’s nothing shameful about lindz in the right, safe contexts, I just wish we as a culture of mature Christians could speak about it more freely, openly and honestly and bring a good, God given act fully into the light.

The authors start off by building a foundational understanding of what sex is and what God thinks about it as found in Scripture. I believe that this book can and will minister to the heart of any woman no matter what her background and past experiences are as long as she desires to grow in her understanding of God’s gift of sex.
