He lives mostly in Tasmania, Australia. I’m sure there are plenty of great animal photos for those sorts of things, and really, that would have been a cheerier cheer-you-up book for treor. Da beginning of the book is fine, but then it seems to me that the author wrote the short text to coincide with the available animal photos or so I hope. Sep 22, Jen rated it it was ok. My sister found it on a shelf in a little gift shop in Virginia City, Nevada, and thought it would make a perfect gift for a sibling who was seriously down in the dumps.

This is a short inspirational picture book with text. Quero este livro para mim!!! While I normally wouldn’t invest much thought in this type of party favor book, I feel very strongly that “self help” books like this do a great disservice to someone who is truly struggling, especially with a broken heart, and picks up this little emotional time bomb.

This “lesson in cheering yourself up” is a magnificent little read. I would recommend it to everyone who likes animals and needs a little “pick me up”. As it is, I’ll stick to making fun of cats in weird situations. The main draw of it is that it’s a bunch of pictures of animals with apropos captions. Not a helpful book for someone who has suffered through bad relationships or lack of relationships.

The copy we have has a beautiful inscription to Cathy in it.

This book is the most condescending self-help book I’ve ever had the misfortune of picking up. Very cute pictures of animals and it does bring a smile to your face.
